A Bit Of history

From Tocumbo, Michoacán, a tradition was born in the 1940s that would forever change the way to enjoy ice cream and popsicles in Mexico. With homemade recipes made with natural fruit and artisanal processes, the first paleteros of the region laid the foundations of what is now a symbol of Mexican flavor and pride.

Over time, tradition grew. Paleterías with different names such as La Flor de Michoacán, Las Delicias de Michoacán or La Michoacán began to open throughout the country. It was at the beginning of the 90s when Alejandro Andrade Andrade promoted the unification of this identity by creating the renowned image of the Michoacan girl with a palette in her hand. This image, together with the development of a comprehensive business model, marked a new stage of brand expansion, strengthening and recognition
